What impact will you make?

Come join the Enterprise Service & Process Management team and work with a talented group of consultants building out next-generation digital and process solutions for our customers. This team is responsible for the implementation, advisory, best practices, innovation, and architecture for our customers and partners, focusing on IT and business process solutions. 

As a Junior Consultant, you will be working on the different phases of a digital transformation. Leveraging your passion for (and experience with) business and technology, you will work on projects that deliver essential value to our customers. You will work with the team to increase the client’s awareness of the importance of service & process management within organizations and support companies in embracing the complex transformations enabled by technology. You are highly interested in disruptive technologies and solutions. 

The Enterprise Service & Process Management team is the go-to partner for the most important, complex and disruptive technological challenges of our customers in the Netherlands and abroad. We create great experiences by innovating and delivering best-in-class business and IT (service management) processes enabled by leading digital workflow platforms. Utilizing innovative techniques, such as design thinking and the execution of design sprints, we provide insight into what is possible as a result of a joint effort between business and IT. Specific focus areas are Service Management (enabled by ServiceNow) and Dynamic Case Management (enabled by platforms such as Pega, Appian, OutSystems).

This is how

In this role, you will be part of project teams that advise our clients strategically on technological and process solutions and help them realize them. Examples of project activities are: 

  • facilitating collaborative workshops with our clients to assess current processes and define future state processes;  

  • understanding, designing and improving complex business processes, by applying process modeling standards such as Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and Event-driven Process Chain (EPC); 

  • operating at the intersection of Business and IT, for example by defining requirements and creating process documentation for process solutions such as ServiceNow, Dynamic Case Management and understanding how these solutions fit within the customer's architecture; 

  • being part of or collaborate with onshore/offshore project teams using agile/scrum as a way of working to deliver end-to-end process/service management implementations; 

  • taking responsibility and initiative to independently deliver (parts of) client work and to communicate insights and recommendations to the client.

You will share your expertise with more than 150 colleagues from the Technology Strategy & Transformation team as part of Deloitte Consulting. TS&T specializes in addressing the most important questions and challenges within the domain of our clients' CIOs. TS&T consists of four teams: 

  • Technology Vision & Architecture 

  • Technology Strategy & Operating Model 

  • Technology Transformation & Acceleration 

  • Enterprise Service & Process Management

  • a master's degree, with a preference for technology-related studies such as Business Information Management; Management, Engineering or Informatics; 

  • relevant and demonstrable (work) experience in the field of service management and/or business process management, such as courses at the university and experience gained during internships 

  • gained foreign and/or extracurricular (work) experience; 

  • excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing. 

Furthermore, you are: 

  • a team player; 

  • convinced of the value of service management/business process management for organizations; 

  • ambitious and you have an entrepreneurial mindset.
