Internship at Airport Coordination Netherlands

 

ACNL is the slotcoordinator for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam-The Hague Airport en Eindhoven Airport.  We coordinate 560.000 flights for over 80 million passengers and almost 2 million tons of goods. ACNL focuses on using the airport infrastructure as efficiently as possible and optimizing the operational performance at the airport. One of the main tasks is the monitoring of slot usage and promoting proper use in cooperation with airlines, airports, traffic control and regulators.

 

ACNL offers an internship of 3-4 months for 20-32 hours per week for a student at TU Delft.  The goal of the internship is to make analyzes and tooling for measuring the slotperformance of airlines. You will have to use modern programming languages ​​to open up ACNL's large slot database and to connect external sources in order to monitor the use of the slots. Naturally you are analytical and skilled in modern tooling.  You learn to apply data science in aviation practice.  At the start of the internship we will define concrete projects for you.

 

The reward amounts between € 600,= and € 1000,= per month depending on number of hours and experience.  Preferably starting from mid-August.
