Het Human Power Team is na driekwart jaar onderzoek en bouwen druk bezig met het testen en trainen voor de race in Duitsland en Amerika. Omdat de technologische ontwikkeling nooit stopt willen we ook volgend jaar weer een enthousiast team de volgende stap laten maken in de ontwikkeling van het ultieme mens aangedreven voertuig.

Het Human Power Team is een uniek studententeam uit Delft dat voor een deel ook uit studenten van de VU Amsterdam bestaat. Met deze samenwerking is het team instaat om zowel het sportieve als technische deel van het project professioneel aan te pakken.

Binnen het team zijn er veel verschillende taken die een toekomstig lid op zich kan nemen. Naast de technisch zaken zoals aerodynamica, dynamica en sterkteberekeningen zijn er ook management en sponsorwervings taken. Daarnaast kan er ook actief worden samengewerkt met de afdeling bewegingswetenschappen om bijvoorbeeld onderzoek te doen naar een nieuwe aandrijvingmethode.

Je kan het team op verschillende manieren ondersteunen. Door fulltime kernteam lid te worden sta jij aan de basis voor het ontwerp en alle zaken die van belang zijn. Een fulltime functie kan worden gecombineerd met een D:Dream minor. Naast fulltime kan je het team ook parttime ondersteunen.

We zoeken full- of part-time studenten om ons team te versterken met interesse in de volgende gebieden:

- Organisatie

- Marketing & acquisitie

The Human Power Team is after three quarters of a year of research and building engaged in testing and training for the race in Germany and America. Because the technological development never stops, next year we want to let an enthusiastic new team make the next step in the development of the ultimate human powered vehicle.

The Human Power Team is a unique student team from the TU Delft that partly consists of students from the VU University Amsterdam. With this collaboration, the team is able to approach both the sporting and technical part of the project in a professional way.

Within the team, there are many different tasks for a future team member. In addition to the technical issues such as aerodynamics, dynamics and strength calculations, there are also management and acquisition tasks. There is also a possibility to actively cooperate with the department of movement Sciences, for example, to investigate a new drive train.

You can support the team in different ways. If you choose to be a full-time core team member you are at the basis of the design and all the things that are important. A full-time function can be combined with a D: dream minor. Instead of full-time, you can also support the team part-time.
